so i have this thing where if i’m attracted to someone i make it a point to ignore them. it’s not one of those your-standards-are-too-high kind of things—‘cause they’re really not. i think it’s more i’m just so used to people annoying me that i psych myself out. it’s not that i don’t want someone close, it’s just that lately i’ve much rather go without the physical in order to avoid the emotional. also, most men just aren’t worth a second glance, let alone a date, but that’s out of my hands. i think 22 years is a long time to wait for a best friend. i’m tired of being alone now.
