I have BEEN done with STFURacists. I have seen them repeatedly talk over PoC and then defend to the death their right to have a blog addressing racism and talking over PoC while doing it. Who the hell made white bloggers an authority on racism? Who the hell gave them the right to speak OVER PoC who say that something is racist?

I remember legit being SHOCKED when I saw them telling other white people it was okay to do Dia de los Muertes makeup even after MULTIPLE PoC repeatedly told them it was cultural appropriation. And then they had the audacity to call the PoC sensitive, etc. I just can’t with that blog. It seriously makes me rage-gasm.

If you’re a white person who blogs about racism, I will side-eye you a little bit no matter what. But if you always defer to PoC’s authority on their own lives and remember that it is never ever ever eeeever about you or your feelings, you’re okay in my book. As an anti-racism blog, your goal should be only to amplify the voices of PoC, never to have more say than them and never ever EVER to talk over them.
